Refunds.
Digital products are not legally required to be refundable in Portugal, but we like the idea that you can buy a pack with no anxiety. So we offer a 30-day refund window, no questions, on anything you have not already used in a released track.
The 30-day window
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund. We will not ask you why. We will refund through Stripe, which usually means the money is back on your card in 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
The one condition
We ask that you have not already used the sounds in a track that is publicly released (on streaming platforms, sold on Bandcamp, synced to a video that is up on the internet, etc.). If you have released a track using the pack, the licence has been used and we cannot refund.
If you are not sure, just ask. We are not going to be difficult about it.
How to request a refund
Email info@marchstead.com from the same email address you used at checkout. Include:
- The pack name (or "the bundle").
- The order date (or the Stripe receipt).
- A sentence on what was wrong, so we can improve the pack if the issue is fixable.
We respond within one working day. Refund is processed the same day we reply.
Bundles
The Marchstead Headspace Bundle is refundable as a whole. We do not refund individual packs out of a bundle.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before raising a chargeback with your bank. Stripe chargebacks cost us a non-recoverable fee even when we win, and we would much rather just send your money back if there is a genuine problem.
